Professionals who work with families and children are often asked to provide guidance and resources for a variety of challenges that arise while raising children, including parenting support, education, discipline, and behavior management. Identifying appropriate services can sometimes be complicated due to eligibility requirements such as city of residence, income level, language, and program-specific criteria.
You can use Help Me Grow, a free service, to make the referral process easier for you and the families you serve. Help Me Grow helps you connect families with appropriate non-medical services that support children and families from the prenatal stage through age 17, based on their individual needs.
Families can call 1 (866) GROW-025 (1-866-476-9025) to speak with a Family Care Coordinator, who will provide up-to-date information about resources available throughout Orange County. After referrals are given, families receive a follow-up to help ensure they are successfully connected to services.
You can also contact Help Me Grow directly to obtain resource and referral information for the families you support. If you choose this option and share the information with the family yourself, Help Me Grow will not conduct follow-up with the family.
